Beef Udon Noodles


2 tbsp sesame oil
300g beef, cut into thin strips
600g straight to wok udon noodles
1 red pepper cut into thin strips
6 spring onions, sliced
Salt to taste
Pinch of Supreme Coarse Black Pepper

½ cup soy sauce
⅓ cup brown sugar
¼ cup vinegar
1 tbsp Supreme Ginger Paste
1 tbsp Supreme Garlic Paste
¼ cup cornflour
1 tbsp Supreme Chilli Flakes

Greens of spring onions
Supreme Sesame Seeds


In a bowl, mix together all ingredients for the sauce and set aside. Heat the oil in a large wok over high heat. Once heated add beef strips, pinch of salt and coarse and stir fry until browned. Add whites of the spring onions and red pepper and stir fry for 1-2 minutes. Stir the sauce, add to the wok and cook until thickened. Finely add udon noodles and ¾ of greens parts of spring onion and mix well. Continue to cook until heated through. Garnish with spring onions and sesame seeds and serve immediately.
