Churro Waffles

INGREDIENTS

2 cups plain flour
Pinch of salt
2 tbsp baking powder
2 tbsp sugar
1 tsp vanilla extract
1 ½ cups milk
75g melted butter
2 large eggs
50g melted butter
2 cup sugar
1 tbsp Supreme Cinnamon Powder

Chocolate Sauce:
220g dark chocolate
1 cup double cream
Pinch of sea salt

METHOD

In a bowl, mix together plain flour, salt, baking powder and sugar. In another bowl whisk together vanilla extract, milk, melted butter and eggs. Slowly add the wet ingredients into the dry ingredients and whisk together until well combined. Preheat the waffle maker. In a shallow bowl mix together sugar and cinnamon powder and set aside. Make the chocolate sauce: Heat double cream then add to the chocolate and let it sit for 1 minute then add a pinch of sea salt and stir to combine. Pour the batter onto your hot waffle maker and cook until golden or according to manufacturer’s directions. Remove from the waffle maker and brush both sides with melted butter. Coat waffles in cinnamon sugar. Repeat with remaining batter then serve immediately with chocolate sauce.
