Almond Crusted French Toast


6 slices of bread, sliced in half diagonally
2 eggs
½ cup milk
¼ cup cream
1 tsp Supreme Cinnamon Powder
1 tbsp sugar
1 tsp vanilla extract
Pinch of salt
½ cup Supreme Almonds & extra to garnish, finely chopped
Chocolate (to melt and pour over at the end)


In a bowl whisk together egg, milk, cream, cinnamon powder, sugar, salt, and vanilla and set aside. Place finely chopped almonds in a plate and set aside. Melt a knob of butter with a touch of oil in a skillet or frying pan over medium-high heat. Dunk each slice of bread in egg mixture, soaking both sides then coat in chopped almonds. Fry bread slices on both sides until golden brown. Repeat with remaining bread slices. Dust with icing sugar and top with melted chocolate and chopped almonds.
